Pastoral Communications From Fr. Frank
In our preparation for the Easter celebrations, God in his providence offers us each year the Sacred Season of Lent as a “sacramental sign of conversion”, summoning us and enabling us to come back to HIM wholeheartedly, in every aspect of our lives.
During Lent, we are encouraged to do something that will bring us closer to Christ or give up doing something that may keep us from serving Christ and one another. Lent is the opportune time to cut out from our personal lives all actions or habits or attitudes that get in our way as we strive to love God and neighbor.
Let us harken to God’s voice calling us tenderly, to be renewed, healed, forgiven, and reconciled to the LORD and with one another.
Wishing you a blessed and fruitful Season of Lent!
Fr. Frank’s mission trip at good Samaritan school-Uganda
Dear Sponsors and Friends of the Good Samaritan Mission School-Uganda ,
This January 2022, I made a short mission trip to Uganda and with your generous support I was able to complete the children’s dormitory building shown in the picture. We also installed solar panels for the children’s security and night reading. We added two water reservoirs collecting clean rain water for drinking off the roof. More text books, desks, and children’s uniforms were also procured.
There are over 320 children currently benefiting from your sacrifice and generous gift of education at the Good Samaritan Mission school program.
If you would consider supporting a child’s elementary education, kindly donate $300.00 for 2022 School Academic Year.
Make your generous donation to MHNJ and in the memo please write: ”Mission School-Uganda.,” or donate via our WEShare online giving using the “Good Samaritan School-Uganda” on our MHNJ website.
May God bless your generous hearts, Amen
Yours in Christ,
